Ethical and effective vs. self-centered and amoral?

Some argue that capitalism is an ethical and effective system that encourages creative collaboration in problem-solving. Others argue that it's a self-centered and amoral system that puts power into one central place, exhausts resources, and exploits the vulnerable.
